Turai (Ridge-gourd)

It is a dark green, ridged tapering vegetable. It has white pulp with white seeds embedded in spongy flesh. Aridge gourd also commonly known as Turai or Turiya is a well beloved in India and Pakistan. Its hard skin is peeled off and chopped and cooked as desired. Ridgegourd is low in saturated fat and cholesterol, high in dietary fiber, vitamin c, riboflavin, zinc, thiamin, iron, magnesium and manganese. Tuari ka istemal jild ke kai masail ko khatam kar deta hai, jisim se nuqsandha aur falto ratobat ko kharij karr deta hai jis se kharish, phore aur phonsiyan nahi hotein. Turai ke bijon ka teal jild ki shikayat mein mufeed hota hai.

Bukhaar (Fever):

Turai ki sard taseer ki badolat jisam mein thandajk aur tarawat ka ihsas hota hai.Ye garmi ki taseer ko khatam karti hai, bukhaar ke mariz ko agar turai ka salan kali mirch(black pepper) mila kar deya jaye to aram ajata hai. Is ke alwa bukhar ki shikayat mein mun ka zaiqa kharab ho jata hai. Yani agar pani mein peya jaye to karwa lagta hai. Tuari ke istimal se mun ka zaiqa thek ho jata hai.

Khoon Ki Kami:

Turai mien folad ke ajza bakasrat paye jate hai. Ise afrad jinmeinkhoon ki kami ho to turai ka istemal is kami ko qurati tor par pora kar deta hai.

Jismani Thakawat:

Turai ki aik khusosiyat ye hai ke ye halki hone ke sath jald hazam bhi ho jati han aur bihat jald jozoye badan ho jati hai. Ise afrad jo jismani thakawat ka shikaar rehte han un ke leye umdah ghiza hai. Is se mede ki kamzori khatam ho jati hai aur ghiza jald hazam hoti hai.

Turai ka istemal tolidi maada peda karta ha ye maqvi bah hai. Bator salan istemasl karne se ziyada faidah mand hai.
