Ginger ko Urdu mein Adrak kehte hain. Asian Countries mein ginger fresh, dry aur powder ki shakal mein ba aasani har jagah dastiyab hai, jab ke maghrabi mumalik mein syrup aur crystallized shakal mein bhi dastiyab hai. Hamare yahan fresh ginger ko pees kar ya kutar kar khano mein dala jata hai. Yahan hum log powder ki shakal mein baking items mein use karte hain. Barre sagheer mein ginger tea aur mashroob bhi kafi maqbool hai. Mashroob ka liye 2 cup garam pani mein adrak (ginger) ke chand tukre daal kar aik do ubaal diye jate hain, phir is pani ko chaan kar shehad mila kar piya jata hai, yeh hazmey ke liye behtreen hai.
